摘要
Nursing students frequently experience significant test anxiety which can impair performance during highstakes testing, a necessary component of nursing education and licensure for practice. Prior literature has documented efficacy of interventions in prior generations of students; however, none have focused upon the post-pandemic student population. This review of the literature provides updated evidence from studies of interventions for test anxiety in the nursing students of today. Twenty studies from 2018 to 2023 are analyzed according to intervention type: sensory, physiologic, cognitive, and affective. A strategy is proposed for faculty, providing concrete guidance in educating nursing students in potential interventions for test anxiety. (c) 2024 Organization for Associate Degree Nursing.
