摘要
Faraday rotation has been employed to ensure efficient frequency conversion in the ultraviolet regime. The reported 36% efficiency of the radiated 372 nm, continuous-wave second harmonic of this paper has been numerically analyzed in the presence of a magnetic field in a thin-film-coated magneto-optic crystal using the total-internalreflection-based optical-rotation quasi-phase-matching approach, considering the influence of surface roughness, absorptionloss, and the nonlinear law of reflection.
