摘要
This work proposes a novel spatial power-splitting (PS) scheme with metasurface for simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT). A rectifying metasurface with etched ground is presented to harvest most of the RF signal while transmitting a portion of the signal. A metasurface antenna utilizing the etched ground as the radiating patches is then formed to receive the transmitted signal for communication. Therefore, the proposed metasurface realizes the separation of RF signal for dc power and information in the space domain without extra divider or coupler. Furthermore, the ratio of dc power and information can be adjusted by changing the width of the etched slot on the ground. The proposed scheme and metasurface have great potential in SWIPT applications.
