摘要：

Soft tissue trauma of the face is one of the most commonly occurring injury in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. It occurs due to various reasons like slip, fall, road traffic accidents or assaults, both in children and adults. Management of soft tissue injuries is different when it comes to clean wounds and contaminated wounds. There are not many studies published on management of soft tissue injuries of the face, therefore, based on individual case, it is at the discretion of the surgeon who is going to manage the case. We report a case who presented with delayed contaminated wounds in the facial region including the lips, tongue, and mandibular vestibule post road traffic accident with its detailed management.
