摘要
The integration of forestry and building-what I am calling Forest-Building-stands to make a significant shift in Canada's experience with a changing climate in the coming decades. By altering how architects' source, extract, and design with wood, I propose to increase the carbon pooling potential of forest AND building. I introduce and examine selected functional traits of forests and wood buildings that drive carbon sequestration by studying their complex interactions using system dynamics modelling.
