PHOTOGRAPHY IN SCIENCE TEACHING IN BRAZIL: A BIBLIOGRAPHICAL RESEARCH ON THE USE OF PHOTOGRAPHY AS A TEACHING RESOURCE

摘要
The rapid technological advancement, among other particularities, has made methodological resources available for teaching practice. Starting from this principle and the interaction with photography increasingly present in the daily lives of teachers and students due to social networks, this article aims to analyze Brazilian studies on the use of photography as a didactic resource in science education. Data was collected in the ENPEC Annals, in the Scielo database, and in the CAPES thesis and dissertation catalog. The investigation and analysis of the contributions of these researches took place based on the use of photography (artistic interpretation or representation of reality) in science education. The search adopted the temporal delimitation from 2013 to 2023. The study shows that there is still a scarcity of studies on this subject. However, given the diversity of methodologies and approaches employed, promising perspectives and the relevance of photography in the scenario in focus revealed.
