摘要
In this study, we have highlighted the electro-magnetic properties of the CrMnS2I2 monolayer using the method of density functional theory. The external electric field of 0.5 eV/A is applied in the z-direction and the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (MAE) is maintained for the CrMnS2I2 monolayer with this approach as well. The MAE and exchange coupling constants (J(1),J(2),J(3)) shows considerable changes. Thus, the enhanced magnetic properties suggest CrMnS2I2 monolayer as a promising candidate for the spintronic applications.
