摘要
Neutron activated concrete reference material for measurement of residual radioactivity by gamma-ray spectrometry has been prepared. The main radionuclides were 60Co, 152Eu, 54Mn, 154Eu and 134Cs. One-way ANOVA homogeneity test has shown that the samples are homogeneous. The activity concentrations of 54Mn, 59Fe, 154Eu and 134Cs were relatively low; only 60Co activity concentration was found to be higher therefor it was considered as the main target isotope. The prepared sample can be used as a tool to prove compliance to radiation protection and environmental regulations during decommissioning of cyclotron buildings or other irradiation facilities that produce residual radioactivity.
