摘要：

A case of a 69-year-old man with a prosthetic aortic valve after DeBakey type II aortic dissection who developed endocarditis caused by Enterococcus faecalis is presented. What makes this case unique is the combination and complex interactions of rare clinical manifestations in the course of the disease. The patient's condition was complicated by the development of a subacute stroke and the discovery of colon adenocarcinoma. The complex relationship between enterococcal endocarditis and colonic malignancies has been explored. This case highlights the importance of the diagnostics in considering rare clinical convergences in complex patients with multiple comorbidities, highlighting the need for multidisciplinary collaboration and a comprehensive diagnostic approach.
