摘要
This study intends to evaluate the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina's (B&H) healthcare system's digital transformation, the variables that may influence it, and potential beneficial improvements. The analysis is conducted by reflecting also the digital transformation progress in leading European countries and emphasizing Healthcare 4.0. Importance and what it attempts to do. The progress and current state of digital transformation in healthcare in B&H are analyzed, as well as the needs and changes that could prove beneficial. Problems that arise due to lack of interoperability are significant, so digital transformation soon would be a game changer. Investments are mandatory to perform those positive digitalization changes in the healthcare sector. As observed from examples in other countries, the investments made are worth a while and bring astonishing results. B&H is the last in Europe regarding the quality of digital life, and progress is slow, so to make the healthcare system more efficient and effective the increased rapidness should be a clear goal.
