摘要：

This case study is a retrospective report regarding an alpha -gal syndrome (AGS) patient. The presentation of AGS in patients can vary, and an accurate diagnosis can take up to seven years. One primary diagnostic feature of AGS is the 3 to 6 hours delay in allergic reaction symptoms. As practitioners, we need to be cognizant of AGS because it can be fatal if it goes undetected and the patient continues to eat mammalian meat or mammalian meat products. (c) 2024 Elsevier Inc.
