摘要
In this study, we investigate the spin-dependent electron transport properties of a zigzag silicene nanoribbon (ZSiNR) by using spin-polarized density functional theory and the non-equilibrium Green's function method. The results show that such a ZSiNR with an FM configuration exists the perfect dual spin filtering and dual spin diode effects when the bias voltage was applied. These phenomena still exist in ZSiNRs with different widths. As the ribbon width increases, the progressively smaller bias voltage is required to trigger a polarized current. Therefore, such a ZSiNR in FM configuration is a good candidate for spintronic devices.
