摘要
With the development of society and the change of the times, the trend of economic globalization has further strengthened and accelerated the arrival of cultural globalization. The modernization of society, the internationalization of design, and the intermingling of cultural diversity are becoming evident. The international exchange and collision of diverse cultures gradually form a cross-cultural environment. The relationship between culture and design has become increasingly close, and cross-cultural product design has slowly become an important initiative to promote cultural development and increase the added value of products. Cross-cultural product design means that designers must understand the differences between various cultures around the world, break the barriers of regional and national cultures, break the bonds of their own culture, and cross the cultural divide formed by history so that the designed products are "culturally" humanized and designed to be "global." We create "global" products. The cross-cultural design needs to understand the culture of the target region to make a targeted design. This paper attempts to overcome the current product design in different cultural backgrounds in other groups can not be better expressed in the core of its products, proposes a product design in the cross-cultural environment to quantify the research method, and through the introduction of Hofstede cultural dimension theory into the design process to assist in completing the product design, enhance the expression of the product's modeling semantics to reduce user learning costs. We propose an effective method to make the final product shape accurate in its representation. From the perspective of cross-cultural communication, it is of far-reaching significance to explore the expression of product styling and promote the development of products towards internationalization. The paper also describes the development trend of cross-cultural product design, the current situation, and the cross-cultural nature and cultural attributes accordingly. Through preliminary investigation and related experiments, the results show that multiple factors influence cross-cultural product design, and people growing up in different cultures form differences in values. Users' habits and behavior patterns vary in other cultures, so in cross-cultural design, the designed products can be accepted by user groups in different cultural circles by exploring cross-cultural product styling design methods. By examining the ways of cross-cultural product design, the theoretical model of product design is obtained with the help of theoretical approaches. It is brought into the cross-cultural integration product design to verify the feasibility and validity of the cross-cultural product design model. The long-term significance of cross-cultural product design also lies in the coordination of the "human-product-environment-society. The long-term significance of cross-cultural product design is also to harmonize the relationship between "people-product-environment-society" and to have a positive impact on the formation of a sustainable human living environment and a way of life that integrates global and regional cultures, scientific and humanistic cultures.
