Universal Design for Learning. The case of the University of Guayaquil

摘要
The Universal Design for Learning (UDL) has recently been systematized at the international university, as a proposal that is based on an educational framework that addresses diversity within the classroom and the characteristics that typify the way each student learns, because it adjusts to neurocognitive tools and TIC's, as a contemporary part of the teaching-learning processes. In Ecuador there are contributions that advance towards the opportunity of implementing this model within the universities, however, surveys and interviews with directors and teachers indicated that regardless there are potentialities and facilities at the University of Guayaquil for its implementation, its being taken into account it is practically null. For this reason, an analysis of the aspects that facilitate or impede the implementation of the UDL at the level of the Faculty of Philosophy, Humanities and Educational Sciences of the University of Guayaquil is proposed.
