摘要：

This essay aims to discuss textual criticism from three general lines, developed in the Italian philologic context: its theoretical foundation, its methodology and the course of the discipline in the information age. To this end, three fundamental texts will be taken into account: the classic Principi di critica testuale by D'Arco Silvio Avalle, Fondamenti di critica testuale by Alfredo Stussi and Gli orizzonti dell'ecdotica by Francisco Rico.
