Continuing education of teachers in Federal Institutes: the scientific production of Brazilian Graduate Studies (2018-2022)

摘要
Historically the continuing education of teachers to work in Professional and Technological Education (EPT) has been marked by emergency and provisional strategies. In this article, we analyze the academic production of Brazilian Graduate Studies on continuing education of teachers at Federal Institutes (IFs) in the period from 2018 to 2022. Authors such as Santos (2010), N & oacute;voa (1992, 2002) and Freire (1996, 2001) were used as theoretical references. The study is of a qualitative nature, of the "State of Knowledge" type. The works were collected in the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and in the Observatory of the Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT). For analysis, we used the Thematic Categorical Content Analysis Technique. We located twelve surveys, which were read in full. The researches pointed out that continuing education with a focus on reflection on teaching practice has a positive impact on the teaching and learning processes in IFs.
