摘要
This paper introduces a generic and modular approach for bipolar membrane electrodialysis (BMED) process modelling. The model, based on fundamental equations, allows user-friendly parameterization for adaptability across diverse confiurations and resource recovery applications. Simulations at the ntuple and stack levels accommodate various membranes and configurations. The tool facilitates the development of BMED processes by providing easily adaptable and modulable modelling capabilities for control, monitoring and efficiency estimation.
