摘要
The present work discusses the discursive logic behind green capitalism and, above all, its consequences in large real estate developments located in the South Axis of the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte (MRBH). Here, green globalization is discussed as a fable, as a reproducer of inequalities and accentuated by the neoliberal city. Thus, the commodification of nature in this region is presented here and how it gives light to the process of selective modernization of the metropolis of Belo Horizonte, showing how the extensive urbanization of this space contributed to different uses of nature in the MRBH, favoring, above all, the interests of the upper classes.
