摘要
Deteriorations of the m. iliopsoas are often diagnosed and treated in animal physiotherapeutic practices. Pathologies of the Iliopsoas can be divided in three groups. The m. iliopsoas undergoes a lot of stress in sports and games and tearing's or inflammation of the muscle can occur. A tendinitis and/or bursitis of the Iliopsoas (= iliopsoas syndrome) provoked by sports can occur as well. Due to its anatomical location and function the iliopsoas muscle can as well be affected by many pathologies. The symptoms differ and the diagnosis is not always easy. The different pathologies of the iliopsoas can be well treated physiotherapeutically. Massages, mobilisation, electro-, laser- or ultrasound-therapy as well as an individually adapted training are used. The rehabilitation can take a lot of time. Not only for sporting dogs an individually adapted training and prophylaxis are important.
