摘要
The detection of environmental contaminants has emerged as a significant area of research, and chemosensors are playing a vital role in this field. The development of versatile probes to identify various metal ions and other chemicals has become the need of the hour. Pyrazole, a highly adaptable organic compound, has caught the attention of researchers due to its unique structural characteristics. In recent trends, pyrazole-based chemosensors have been found to be both colorimetric and fluorescent sensors. A few pyrazoles have also been employed as bases for metal-organic framework (MOF), complex, and polymer-based probes. The review on chemosensors can insight the importance, mechanism of action, and their applications in sensing metal ions. Such a sensing is very useful in identification such metal ions in environment and in some health effects. Colorimetric sensors are readily indicating the presence of ions in a analyte instantly by the colour change, which can be recognised without the aid of any sophisticated instrument, using the instrumental facility its exact quantifications can be done. Rather fluorometric sensors can be used for the quantification of the target ions. This review provides an overview of the latest findings in pyrazole-based chemosensors from 2015 to 2023.
