FINANCIAL EDUCATION AND TAX EXONERATIONS: EMPOWERING ACTORS IN THE POPULAR AND SOLIDARITY ECONOMY

The popular and solidarity economy plays a significant economic role in contemporary society. This is why many of its actors must learn how to assume their role within taxation. This article focuses on the literature review associated with Accounting, Finance and Economics, in order to, with a solid and specialized perspective, analyze the qualitative relationship between these actors' financial education and tax exemptions. The review of knowledge gaps, strategies to improve tax and financial education, and strengthening tax compliance, allowed to conclude that early financial education, technological platforms development and public policies promulgation associated with financial and financial aspects tax, conform the way to follow for achieving comprehensive training that covers fiscal aspects and improves the relationship of popular and solidarity economy actors with tax exemptions.
