摘要
Since its adoption year (1996), the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model acquired great importance in supply chain design and management efficiency. Integrating environmental and ethical sustainability principles into the SCOR model offers points of view for promoting responsible supply chain practices. The proposed literature review analyses several extensions for incorporating the sustainability principle into the SCOR model (e.g., integrating sustainability metrics, designing sustainable supply chains, and implementing waste and recycling management practices). Towards these concepts, digitalisation plays an important role. In particular, organisations can leverage technologies like RFID, data analytics, and IoT-enabled devices to enhance supply chain visibility, optimise inventory management, and reduce carbon emissions. The result of this first review wants to show that embracing environmental and ethical sustainability within the SCOR model empowers organisations to achieve more sustainable and responsible supply chain management practices. Implementing green supply chain initiatives, proper e-waste management, and evaluating sustainable supply chain performance through digitalisation are focal points of analysis for facing contemporary environmental challenges and promoting a circular economy.
