摘要
As we transition from 5G to 6G, our focus shifts to a mobile core network that embraces flexibility, scalability, and automation in multi-cloud setups. Despite the progress made in 5G, its full realization is still an emerging development. This study analyzes the limitations of 5G architecture and the challenges of cloud deployment. Embracing cloud-native principles, we engineer a new core network architecture that decouples business layers from deployment and operation layers. We introduce a native service mesh that transforms network functions into cloud-native applications. To demonstrate this, we deploy our enhanced core network on cloud platforms, taking a significant step to turn the vision into a reality.
