摘要
Objective: To determine quality of life of stroke patients in Rawalpindi and Islamabad by using Stroke Specific Quality of Life scale. Methodology: Stroke survivors with 35 to 65 years of age with duration of stroke between 3 months to 6 months were included in the study. The study used nonprobability convenient sampling to recruit 72 respondents out of which 59 were included based on inclusion criteria. Results: Most of the stroke patients had compromised quality of life. The mean and standard deviation for SSQOL score was 141.8 +/- 30.2. Conclusion: The onset of stroke significantly affected quality of life in its survivor.
