High average output power, dual-wavelength synchronously self-mode-locked Ho:LLF laser operating at 2068.5 and 2069.2 nm

摘要
A dual -wavelength synchronously self -mode -locked Ho:LLF laser operating at 2068.5 and 2069.2 nm was demonstrated. The maximum average output power was as high as 2.6 W with a pulse repetition frequency of 3.03 GHz. Meanwhile, the output power ratio of the dual -wavelength lasers can be effectively controlled by varying the incident pump power. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first dual -wavelength synchronously self -mode -locked Ho -doped fluoride solid state laser; moreover, our current experimental results represent the highest average output power from a GHz self -mode -locked oscillator in the 2 mu m wave band.
