摘要
Distance Education (EaD) enables the professionalization and training of diverse audiences across different locations and times, utilizing Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) and their interactive mechanisms. This serves as an alternative for equipping stakeholders involved in public policies, including Urban Land Regularization, which is an urgent requirement in Brazilian cities. This study aims to analyse the provision of the initial two modules of the Urban Land Regularization Distance Course, offered by the Ministry of Regional Development (MDR) in collaboration with the Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-& Aacute;rido (UFERSA), during the COVID-19 pandemic, and its potential contributions to public policy implementation. The classes featured exclusive written and audiovisual content, specialized tutoring in urban land regularization, operational support, and diverse articulation methodologies. Consequently, they delivered knowledge and high-quality technical training to participants, covering the concepts and intricacies of the Reurb process, applicable across various Brazilian regions, thereby aiding in the gradual reduction of housing deficits and the inadequacies throughout the territory.
