To Intervene is to Question: Convergences between Social Pedagogy and Social Work

摘要
Social work is both a discipline and a profession that has been built on the basis of a permanent reflection on its work. Social intervention is the most characteristic of social work and, like the profession, it is constantly being reconfigured, as it is fueled by the practice of professionals and their relationship with other disciplines. With this framework and as there is no single or final way to develop social intervention, the article explores how social pedagogy, as a discipline, and based on an interdisciplinary dialogue, configures a pedagogical dimension of social intervention, orienting the actions of social workers based on the question and the subjects' ability to question themselves to produce changes in their reality.
