摘要
Dolomites are one of the carbonates. In this study, we investigate hydrogen adsorption/desorption phenomena on dolomites. Five types of dolomites were prepared as starting materials. In addition, ball-milling treatment under a hydrogen atmosphere was conducted to improve these phenomena. Dolomite structures were identified for all samples, not hydrates such as MgH2. Their adsorption forms were found to be of type II as per IUPAC classification. As a result, the specific surface area (SBET) of the dolomites was increased by the ball-milling. The amounts of hydrogen released were 86-199 ppm measured by gas chromatography. These amounts are intended to increase by milling the rotation rate.
