摘要：
The acute care nurse practitioner/adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP/AGACNP) considered one of the newer nurse practitioner population foci, is recognized worldwide. A descriptive study using data from the International Advanced Practice Nursing website examined the title, role, education, and regulation of the acute care nurse practitioner/adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in 94 countries/territories in the 6 World Health Organization regions. This report provides a comprehensive update on the advancement of this role over the last 20 years from a national and global perspective. (c) 2024 Elsevier Inc.
