Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries are severe traumatic knee injuries that are commonly sustained while particpating in sports, especially within cutting and pivoting sports, with an incidence of 68.6 injuries per 100,000 person-years.1 The most frequently reported maneuvers for the occurrence of an ACL injury are a rapid deceleration, change of direction (COD), or landing after a jump during competitive sport.2 Patients who aim to return to sport (RTS) after suffering an ACL injury are usually
