摘要：
In his literature, the Uruguayan writer Fabi & aacute;n Severo often reminisces about life in Artigas, a village on the border between Uruguay and Brazil. It is with his mother tongue, Portu & ntilde;ol, and only with it, that he is able to return there. And on this return journey, it is the landscape of the border that is illuminated. This article thus draws on the notion of "autobiogeography" (Collot, 2018) in order to observe and analyse how the landscape of the border, and the Portu & ntilde;ol that filters through it, make childhood memories present.
