摘要
In multi input multi output (MIMO) radars system; multiple transmitters and multiple receivers are employed to improve detection performance. This paper investigates the performance analysis of three CFAR (Constant False Alarm Rate) detectors; the CA-, GO- and SO-CFAR detectors for the MIMO radars considering a Gamma distributed clutter. The main contribution of this paper is the derivation of Close-form expressions of the probability of false alarm (PFA) of the three CFAR detectors in homogeneous Gamma environment for the statistical MIMO radars. The correctness of the analytical expressions is validated first by comparing the threshold values T computed directly from the expression to those obtained by means of Monte Carlo simulations, and second by plotting these formulas using the MAPLE software where the curves behaves as a probability of false alarm (PFA). The detection performance of the three CFAR detectors is carried out using Monte Carlo simulations in which the obtained results show that the CA-CFAR gives the best performance in low values of nodes MN, while the GO-CFAR and SO-CFAR provide better performance when MN increases.
