摘要
The cost-effectiveness and efficiency of any manufacturing system are now more critical than ever. Therefore the embracing of Industry 4.0 is underway. Interconnectedness and smart automation with the integration of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) are the key concepts of Industry 4.0. The fast-paced industrialization 4.0 requires a good insight into existing concepts and methods. There are many ideas and concepts that are integrated into the advancement of Industry 4.0. This paper explores the integration of preventive maintenance concepts and methods used by the fourth industrial revolution, ideas like the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Cloud Manufacturing (CM), Machine Learning (ML), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Digital Manufacturing (DM), and Digital Twins (DT). This paper will introduce additional concepts into the conference paper, Intelligent Process Control Following Industry 4.0 Trends, with Siemens PLM product, Tecnomatix.
