摘要
The purpose of the current study is to identify the variables used to quantify knowledge in Barranquilla's higher education institutions' research divisions. The research used cluster analysis with the Hierarchical Kmeans algorithm and was descriptive in nature. Convenience sampling, not probability, was used for the sample. The directors and vice -rectors of the research departments filled out a questionnaire using Likert and ordinal scales as part of the survey's data gathering process. In terms of gauging knowledge management, the research's findings led to the definition of three different sorts of profiles for research groups at higher education institutions.
