摘要
This paper looks at adding rubber powder made from recycled tires into cement concrete to reduce pollution. For the problem what particle size and dosage of rubber powder is best in road concrete, 24 groups of rubber powder concrete were prepared using four types of particle size and six types of dosages. Pavement performance was measured, including strength, toughness, crack resistance, frost resistance, and impermeability. The results showed that strength of rubber powder concrete decreased with dosage and fineness degree of rubber powder increasing, and it had a higher sensitivity for dosage. Adding rubber powder into concrete has a positive effect to improve toughness, crack resistance, and impermeability of concrete, and the effect can be more obvious when the dosage increasing. The ability of frost resistance first increased and then decreased when the dosage increased. The optimum dosage for mesh 60, 80, 100, and 120 rubber powder was about 15%.
