摘要
The present study covers the topic of financial education, as well as its contribution to personal finances. The objective was to analyze how financial education can contribute to awareness of personal financial management and better quality of life for students involved in the research. An audiovisual animation was proposed as a learning object with the aim of promoting reflection and arousing the interest of young people entering the job market, and who need information and guidance to navigate safely in the financial reality in which they will be inserted. This research is classified as exploratory-descriptive, with a qualitative-quantitative approach. To collect data, two questionnaires were administered to young people, with the aim of understanding the sociodemographic characteristics and prior knowledge of students on the topic of financial education, and the young people's perception of the learning object. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics, such as frequency and standard deviation, and through free interpretation analysis, in order to verify how financial education can contribute to improving the quality of life of young people and encourage them to make conscious consumption choices. This research justifies the importance of critical-reflective discussion of the topic of financial education among young people.
