摘要：

This article explores, through the films Once Upon a Time in the Basque Country (2021) and Belfast (2021), the perspective of political violence from the point of view of children. To do so, a comparative analysis is made between the two feature films, addressing the main differences and similarities between the conflicts that took place in Ulster and the Basque Country; in the treatment of political violence through the main characters in both films, contextualising it with the geographical and temporal space; and addressing the problems of cinema in the approaches to terrorism.
