摘要
Minimally invasive bunion correction is an increasingly popular surgical technique to address hallux valgus deformity. Though some complications are decreased compared with open procedures, there are still notable preventable and unavoidable complications associated with these procedures. This paper serves as a review of complications and adverse events encountered with third-generation minimally invasive Chevron and Akin osteotomy procedures, as well as how to avoid and mitigate these adverse outcomes.Level of Evidence:Level V.
