摘要
This paper presents the design of a bi-directional (V2G and G2V) fast charging station incorporating model predictive control for electric vehicles. The bidirectional capabilities enhance the flexibility of electricity grids by facilitating efficient energy storage system utilization, allowing electric vehicles to supply energy to the grid (V2G) and discharge energy from the grid (G2V). The paper discusses the methods necessary for designing and implementing bidirectional battery charging, model predictive control algorithms, and the potential benefits of this technology. Furthermore, a simulation study demonstrating the proposed model predictive controlled fast charging station's operation within a DC microgrid is conducted to illustrate its performance. The findings are anticipated to advance the fields of electric vehicle grid integration and energy management strategies in microgrids.
