摘要
We present an integrated photonics-based logic gate concept that combines coherent data encoding and micro-resonator-enhanced saturable absorption, enabling logic circuits to store and process data while in the optical domain. A phase-controlled "power rail" provides gate fanout and cascadability, with projected gate densities of similar to 5x10(4)/cm(2).
