Effective removal of neo carmine using Z-type heterojunction composite LaFeO3/Bi2S3 as a photo-Fenton-like catalyst

摘要
LaFeO3/Bi2S3 porous photocatalytic materials (LFO/BS) were prepared by hydrothermal method. When LaFeO3 was 15 % by mass, LFO/BS exhibited the highest catalytic performance under the photo-Fenton synergistic effect and the removal efficiency of neo carmine (AR18) reached 99 % after 40 min reaction time. Because Z-type heterojunction was conducive to the migration of electrons and holes, and the conversion of Fe3+ to Fe2+ was beneficial for Fenton reaction to produce .OH, AR18 was degraded powerfully in the photo-Fenton process.
