NiMn2O4/CoS nanostructure electrode material for flexible asymmetric supercapacitors

摘要
In recent years, the promising and cost-effective bimetallic oxide materials with high durability and high efficiency have been widely used in supercapacitors. The recent focus is on the design of flexible electrode materials and it is proved that an effective strategy is properly-designing the electrode materials to improve the flexibility and the electrochemical performance. In this study, a nanostructure named NiMn2O4 was synthesized by a simple hydrothermal strategy and then CoS nanosheets were coated on the material by electrodeposition. Several flexible devices were assembled using the prepared samples as cathode materials. The NiMn2O4/ CoS electrode material exhibits a high specific capacity of 1354.2 F/g at a current density of 1A/g. After repeated chargedischarge processes and bending, it also exhibited good flexibility, demonstrating more widely application scenarios and availability.
