摘要
The present study describes the preparation of Areca Nut extract mediated TiO2 and its catalytic application for the synthesis of 3, 3 '-(phenyl methylene) bis-(4-hydroxy-2H-chromen-2-one) derivatives by conventional multicomponent reaction. The synthesized compounds have been characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass spectrometric techniques. Computational studies have been carried out to interpret the structural activity relationship of the synthesized compounds using the B3LYP program at 6e311 & thorn;& thorn; (d, p) basis set. Additionally, the synthesized compounds were screened for their efficacy towards the antioxidant, antimicrobial, and antituberculosis properties. Further, the recyclability of the employed catalyst has been studied.
