摘要
The Carnival of Cadiz is a cultural phenomenon that has evolved throughout its history, adapting to the political and social circumstances of each period. Thus, it has gone from being a form of protest and resistance - and sometimes subversive for the ruling classes - to consolidating itself as an artistic and popular manifestation. Numerous studies have highlighted the role of the Cadiz carnival as a source of information, opinion and counter-power, reflecting in its creations the cultural, social and political reality of the time. This critical and vigilant function of the values of society, although perhaps not intentional, has favoured the use of carnival content as a didactic resource in the teaching of history, for example, as this academic work deals with.
