Phase Unwrapping-Based Method for Angle Parameter Estimation in Bistatic MIMO Radar With Irregular EMVS Geometry

摘要
This brief considers the estimation of angle parameter in bistatic MIMO radar with an irregular EMVS geometry. The angle parameter estimation in bistatic irregular EMVS-MIMO radar is challenging due to the disruption of spatial rotation invariance. To overcome this obstacle and make full use of the spatial information of the irregular EMVS array structure, we adopt a specific strategy. Firstly, we create a five-order tensor model and derive its tensor train (TT) format. Using TT contraction of the five core tensors in TT decomposition, signal subspace matrices can be obtained. Then, the phase unwrapping method is implemented to precisely extract the adjacent EMVS phase difference and estimate the angle parameter. Additionally, the polarization parameter is derived through the polarization rotation invariance. Simulation results verify the superiority of the proposed strategy.
