摘要
The escalating environmental consciousness and the increasing stringency of regulatory frameworks underscore the environmental consequences associated with the utilization of cutting fluids. The study utilized solid nanolubricants composed of g-C3N4/MoS2 nanocomposites. Thermal analysis techniques for the characterization of g-C3N4/MoS2 nanocomposites were used in this work, including thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry. The calcination approach was used to create the graphitic carbon nitride nanosheet, and the microwave-assisted method was used to synthesized the nanocomposite with molybdenum disulfide. Some well-known techniques were used to characterize the samples' structure and morphology. Molybdenum disulfide and graphitic carbon nitride were found to coexist, according to morphological examination, and the layer-structured MoS2 was evenly distributed over graphitic carbon nitride nanosheets. Under an inert atmosphere, the samples have been heated to 1150 degrees C with a constant heating rate of 10 degrees C/min using nitrogen gas. The thermal assessment of the composite also provides useful information for determining its suitability for high-temperature applications. Activation energy was found to be approximately 20.9 kJ/mol. The inclusion of g-C3N4 in nanocomposite verifies the enhancement of the thermal characteristics and the shift in the temperature of the degradation process.
