摘要
The synthesis and spectroscopic features of Ca3Co4O9 oxide thermoelectric materials produced by solid-state production from affordable precursors were studied in the present study. Thermoelectric and photovoltaic materials are gaining continued importance and are frequently used in industrial trading fields for renewable energy. Both materials can be used together as thermo-photovoltaics hybrid energy converters. Ca3Co4O9 crystals display thermoelectric behavior and are durable against heat. Thermoelectric materials have advantages such as converting waste heat to electric energy and absorption of the solar electromagnetic spectrum. Thermoelectric Ca3Co4O9 crystals were produced at different temperatures during this study according to thermal analysis. Afterward, measurements were conducted for understanding their behavior under the electromagnetic spectrum. The absorbance spectrum values of these crystals range between 190 and700 nm wavelength. While the analysis and transmittance electromagnetic spectrum interval of Ca3Co4O9 show similar to 1.8-2.15 eV energy level of p-type semiconductor. When the efficiency of this material is increased, it is possible to use it as a module under photovoltaic circuits together with n-type structures.
