摘要
This article responds to a problem that affects health prevention of disabilities in pediatric age, framed in the rural context. It also expresses the insufficiency in the integration of community factors, since, if effectiveness in the prevention of the issue in question were achieved, disability rates would decrease. Therefore, the objective is to develop an educational concept of health prevention of disabilities in the rural community. On the other hand, the research methods used include analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive, scientific observation and descriptive statistics, surveys and interviews, which made it possible to diagnose the existence of the problem and corroborate the importance of a new conception. educational to contribute to its solution. Now, the conception offered takes as a point of reference the systematization carried out in specialized literature. It is made up of phases from which ideas, principles, concepts, premises, theoretical cores and the characteristics of the prevention of disability in pediatric age in a rural context are revealed.
