摘要
Simultaneously achieving rapid construction and sufficient safety is one of the highest pursuits for precast concrete (PC) frame research. To put forward the development of this target, the authors in this article propose two novel out -of -joint precast concrete beam -to -beam connections (PCBB), using thread sleeves for rebar connecting and corbel/rabbet-tenon configuration for component rapid installation. Three 1/2 -scaled exterior joint specimens including a reinforcement concrete (RC) specimen and two precast concrete were produced and subjected to cyclic loading tests. The structural performances, including failure modes, strength, deformation capacity, stiffness, ductility, and energy dissipation of the specimens were carefully discussed. The precast specimen with corbel -tenon configuration behaved well, exhibiting an average ductility coefficient of 4.12 and an equivalent viscous damping ratio larger than 20 %, while the average bearing capacity was approximately 23.4 % larger than that of the RC one, demonstrating the potential advantages of this beam -to -beam connection method.
