摘要
Covalent and metal organic frameworks have been discovered to be amazing materials with remarkable surface area, porosity, and morphological characteristics. There are different types of these materials and various methods have been used for their synthesis. Nonetheless, their properties have been enhanced by making their composites with different materials including polymers. These materials have been used so for various applications including adsorption, separation degradation, electrochemistry, etc. In this study, we first presented the porous materials and then provided a systematic overview of the various synthetic processes as well as recent developments and significant applications of these materials in various fields including electrochemistry, surface chemistry, medicinal chemistry and environmental chemistry, etc.
